Living Sounds was formed over two decades ago by the musician Derane Obika. The band has become a powerhouse in the music industry, blending genres like Afro, Funk, Gospel, Jazz, Soul, and Rock into a captivating sonic tapestry. We tour across Europe, sharing our passion and connecting with fans through energetic live performances. 

 At the core of Living Sounds is a quartet of extraordinary talent. Derane leads the ensemble with his soulful vocals and masterful songwriting, drawing inspiration from his roots in Gospel music, where he honed his craft singing in his parents' church. Gianluca Chiarella lends his expertise on guitar, infusing each composition with rich melodies and electrifying solos. Francesco Mendolia commands the rhythm section with his dynamic drumming, while Kofi Emanuel lays down the foundation on bass, locking in the groove with precision and finesse.
